We are delighted to announce that Greatwide Logistics Ltd have been approved as our exclusive representative in Mauritius. Managing Director, Mr Osman Ramdin has more than 15 years of experience in freight forwarding and the company has extensive knowledge and experience of the local market. Their main services include airfreight, ocean freight, supply chain management and customs clearance.

 

Mauritius has witnessed a massive development in the last decade. From a monocrop economy, depending mainly on sugar, it has diversified its economic activities into, textile and apparel industry, tourism and financial services. The country is equipped with a highly skilled labour force and a very good infrastructure thereby attracting Foreign Direct Investment. The average economic growth was 5.6% over the last 3 years.

 

Besides textiles the Export Processing Zone also has companies involved in the production of light engineering goods, jewellery, printing and publishing, electronics, high precision plastics, information technology and pharmaceutical products. Most of the goods are produced for the export market.
