Turk Logistics and CelerityTank Move 16 Ton Forklifts
Turk Logistics, UFO Bahrain since October 2006, have made good use of their overseas partners, CelerityTank, UFO Shanghai since October 2001, after their purchase of two 16 ton forklifts.
Khalid Turk, Director of Turk Logistics explains, "Turk Heavy Transport procured two 16 ton capacity forklifts from China, we required two 20' flat racks for each forklift and a 20’ container for accessories. We had originally received a CFR quote from the manufacturer but we opted to check out our own rates for freight through our agents in China and Celerity was able to provide us with the best rate for the FR and Dry container. Upon confirmation of our order the shipping equipment was delivered to the manufacturer’s premises, cargo loaded and delivered to port for shipping. Shipment arrived few days ago. All accessories have been installed and the forklifts are now ready to work on project site for our contract with Helmerich and Payne, which is an Oil and Gas Drilling company working here for the next 5 years. Turk Logistics would like to express their appreciation to CelerityTank for the smooth and fast handling of the shipment from China."
