Barshan Move 11.5T Yacht from Ashdod to Japan

Barshan International, who joined UFO in January 2002 as exclusive representative in Israel, are in the process of moving in a 11.5 ton Swift Trawler 42 yacht from Ashdod to Japan.  Barshan was founded on 1995 and ever since have worked to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

 

Elad Barshan explains "The yacht was bought by a Japanese customer who required its transportation from Ashdod to Antwerp. The yacht was not dismantelled but sailed as a whole which made the shipping more complicated. The approximate length of the yacht is 14 meters, it weighs 11.5 tons with a height of 4.29 meters. Due to its size it could not be sent in a container and road transportation would be very expensive so the shippers and I sailed from Herzelia yacht marine to Ashdod sea port for the yacht to be swinged from the water onto a MAFI.  No shipping line has a direct routing from Ashdod to Yokohama and we had to make the trans-shipment with a reliable agent and giving the fact we had many options we got close support from Wirtz Shipping (UFO Belgium) who assisted us the whole way."
