New Representation in Latvia
We are delighted to welcome Astra Logistics to the UFO Family, our new representative in Latvia.
Latvia is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is bordered to the north by Estonia, to the south by Lithuania , to the east by the Russian Federation, and to the southeast by Belarus. Across the Baltic Sea to the west lies Sweden.
Astra Logistic Ltd offers a professional and comprehensive range of logistic services and freight forwarding tailored to the individual needs of the customer.
Besides transportation of a general cargo, Astra Logistic specialise in the transportation of pharmaceutical, personal hygiene and cosmetic products from the European Union to the Central Asia and Caucasus. The company provide airfreight and ground transportation services for the most sensitive cargo requirements, including complex transportation management.
At the Head Office of Astra Logistics is a bonded store (1000 m2 ) and warehouse for the long term storage of EU goods (8000 m2), both are located on the territory of the International Airport “Riga”. This is a strategic cross-point of both north-south and east-west trade flows, and provides a transit bridge from Europe to Asia.
