New Representation in Azerbaijan

We are delighted to welcome Dialog Freight to the UFO Family, our new representative in Azerbaijan.
 
Azerbaijan is a country in the Caucasus region of South-West Asia. Located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, it is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west, and Iran to the south.  In 2008, Azerbaijan was cited as one of the top 10 reformers by the World Bank's Doing Business report.

 

 

"Azerbaijan's economy is stable on the background of continued global financial crisis" the Head of the Strategic Research Centre at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration said during his speech at the 8th Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty on 23-24 April. 
 
According to the World Bank Global Economic Prospects 2009, GDP growth in Azerbaijan is forecast at 10.4 percent in 2009.  This report indicates that Azerbaijan occupies a leading position on the growth of GDP among the countries of Europe and Central Asia.
