    TEAM BUILDING

For UFO to remain a strong, global alliance depends on teamwork efficiency. We aim to strengthen the unity of our Members with a fun team building exercise. The session will be held on Sunday 21 April from 14.00-15.30 and will see teams of delegates compete against each other for the prestigious UFO Gold Medals! As was the case our 2012 Team Building session (view photos here), we hope this will not only be a fun activity, but also a good 'ice breaking' event before the start of our meeting.

    GALA DINNER

At 18:00 on Sunday 21 April, we will gather to collect name badges, meet fellow delegates and enjoy a Pre-Drinks Reception before settling down to a grand Gala Dinner with entertainment.

Our first evening together will showcase the wonderful Thai culture through music, dance and performances. A Thai Band will provide live music and we will see performances of traditional Thai Dance, a beautiful and artistic Umbrella Dance and an elegant Fon Tien Dance. We will also see two traditional Thai puppets perform onstage and then they will head into the audience to take photos with our delegates.

After dinner, we can burn off the calories on the dance floor, where our private DJ will spin all the greatest hits. In order to capture the special moments of the night, we will have a professional photographer taking photos throughout the night.

    1-2-1 MEETINGS

All registered delegates gain access to our online Meeting Manager program, developed especially for UFO so that 20-minute business meetings can be arranged prior to arrival. Each scheduled meeting is assigned a table number so that the changeover between each 1-2-1 session runs smoothly.

Each delegate has a personal log-in so that they can access their Agenda and book, cancel or make a period of time unavailable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our delegates are completely in charge of their own schedule. A useful advanced function allows the user to view a list of all attending companies and whether or not they have an appointment booked with each of them. The sophisticated system is also designed to avoid double booking and automatically sends email notifications to both parties when a meeting has been booked or cancelled.

    EVENING EXCURSION

Our evening excursion on Monday 22 April will combine an authentic Thai buffet with a world-class 90-minute stage show depicting Thailand's historical and spiritual heritage. We have ensured that UFO delegates have the best view of the show in Golden Seats! Held in the colossal 2,000-seat Ratchada Theatre, the Siam Niramit show boasts an 11.95 metre proscenium, certified by Guinness World of Records as the world's highest stage. Occupying more than half of the entire theatre space, the panoramic Ratchada Theatre stage is built to accommodate the show's monumental set pieces and a legion of performers (including real elephants and goats) to recreate a realistic ambience of Siam hundreds of years ago.

The show is suitably structured into three acts: Journey Back into History, Journey Beyond Imagination: The Three Realms and Journey Through Joyous Festivals. With over 150 dazzling performers and state-of-the-art special effects, it’s a captivating journey. The first act describes how Siam became a cross-roads where civilisations met, the second how karma binds Thai people, the last how religious ceremony earns Thais merit in this life. Also visit replica villages from the country's rural regions and buy Thai handicrafts. View TripAdvisor Reviews.
